NATURE CONSERVATION CENTER FROG'S HOUSE

In the Landscape park Radensko polje the 1st nature conservation center in Slovenia opened its doors . The nature conservation center, named the Frog's House, was created within the framework of the Interreg project Bonds of Nature. Its special feature is that it lies on an island, right next to the spring of the Šica river.

With the help of various interpretation tools the visitors of Frog's house can learn about parts of the living and non-living nature of the extraordinary Radensko polje karst field. The exhibition also uncovers the most hidden corners of this natural karst pearl, where three rivers together with man have for centuries co-shaped the landscape as we know it today.
