Piran

The Piran Aquarium is located on one of the most magical small harbours. It has been operating for more than 50 years, and since its renovation in 2009 it invites you to discover the maritime wonders of the northern Adriatic. Despite its small size it boasts a collection of 140 different species of marine animals, including 60 species of fish from dwarf suckers to mighty groupers and moray eels. You can take a guided tour, a workshop or help feed the fish. Dive in the underwater world of our sea and discover the secrets of marine inhabitants. Here you can see stars at daylight.
